Important Information

What to Bring

Please bring the following items:

  • Drinking water

  • Towel

  • Sandals or flip-flops (easy to put on and take off)

  • Swimsuit (please wear it under your clothes before the tour)

  • Clothes that can get wet

From October to May, we recommend bringing a hoodie, rash guard, or light jacket, as it may feel cool after snorkeling.

If you are prone to seasickness, we strongly recommend taking motion sickness medication before the tour.

Valuables and luggage may be stored in your vehicle or in the storage area available on the boat.

Included Rental Equipment

The following equipment is provided free of charge:

  • Life jacket

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, please carefully review the following information before joining the tour.

Reservation Confirmation

  • Please review all tour details before booking.

  • Be sure to check the confirmation message sent after your reservation is completed.

  • Due to operational circumstances, reservations may occasionally need to be declined even after confirmation.

Tour Cancellation or Changes

Tours may be modified or canceled due to:

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Rough sea conditions

  • Sudden weather changes

  • Safety concerns determined by the guide

  • Changes to the departure location

  • Boat or vehicle malfunctions

If any changes occur, we will contact you by phone or email as soon as possible.

Age & Health Requirements

Eligible Age

Tour Participation: Ages 0–85

Guests aged 85 and over are requested to contact us before booking.

Medical Conditions

Please contact us before booking if you:

  • Are pregnant

  • Have epilepsy, dementia, or other neurological conditions

  • Have heart disease

  • Have respiratory conditions

  • Have diabetes

  • Have high blood pressure

In some cases, a doctor's certificate may be required.

If you feel unwell before or during the tour, please inform our staff immediately.

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol consumption before boarding or bringing alcohol onto the boat is strictly prohibited.

Guests found to have consumed alcohol will not be permitted to participate in the tour, and no refund will be provided.

Children

Children under 10 years old must be assessed by our staff before entering the water.

If a child is unable to participate in snorkeling, one accompanying guardian must remain with the child. No refund will be provided.

Vision Requirements

  • Contact lenses are recommended.

  • Prescription snorkeling masks are available in limited quantities and must be requested in advance.

Equipment Damage or Loss

Replacement fees apply for lost or damaged rental equipment:

  • Fins: ¥5,000

  • Mask & Snorkel: ¥5,000

  • Rental Camera: ¥60,000

Changing Facilities & Showers

Guests Meeting On-site

  • The tour ends while participants are still wet.

  • We recommend bringing a towel to protect your vehicle seats.

  • Shower facilities (approximately 5 minutes away by car) can be arranged upon request.

Guests Using Transportation Service

  • Please dry off and change clothes before boarding the shuttle.

  • Bring a towel and a change of clothes.

Toilet Facilities

A portable marine toilet is available onboard.

Photography

  • Complimentary tour photos included (approximately 10–30 photos per group).

  • Photo service may be unavailable due to weather conditions or equipment issues.

  • Guests are welcome to bring and use their own smartphones or cameras.

Meeting Information

Meeting Time

Please arrive at least 10 minutes before departure.

Guests arriving after the scheduled departure time will be considered no-shows and charged a 100% cancellation fee.

To help us identify you smoothly, please provide:

Upon arrival, please park in any available space and turn on your hazard lights.

Free parking is available.

Complimentary Pick-up & Drop-off Area

Pick-up and drop-off service is available within the following areas:

  • North Area: Art Hotel Ishigaki Island

  • East Area: ANA InterContinental Ishigaki Resort

  • West Area: Fusaki Beach Resort Hotel & Villas

  • South Area: Ishigaki Port Ferry Terminal

Guests staying outside the service area are requested to meet at the designated meeting point.

Please note that pickup times and locations may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

Advance reservation is required, and shuttle capacity is limited.

Tour Operation

A minimum of 2 participants is required for the tour to operate.

Reservations for a single participant will be accepted on a request basis and confirmed when additional participants join.

Insurance

Insurance coverage may be denied if application information is incomplete or inaccurate.

Damages exceeding the insurance coverage limits cannot be compensated.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees apply as follows:

  • 7–4 days before the tour date: 50%

  • 3 days before the tour date through the day of the tour: 100%

  • No-show: 100%

Late arrival resulting in failure to join the tour will be treated as a same-day cancellation.

Please note that flight delays, ferry delays, traffic congestion, and other transportation disruptions do not exempt guests from cancellation fees unless the tour itself has been officially canceled.

Tour Cancellation by Operator

If the tour is canceled due to weather, sea conditions, or operational reasons, a full refund will be provided.
